TE Connectivity Expands at FPIP, Creates 600 Jobs

TE Connectivity Manufacturing Philippines, Inc. (TECMPI) officially inaugurated its second plant at the First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) in Sto. Tomas, Batangas on January 6, 2026.

A subsidiary of global industrial leader TE Connectivity, TECMPI produces high-speed, high-quality connectors and interconnection devices that power data centers and other advanced IT infrastructure for leading global technology companies.

TECMPI’s approximately Php4 billion investment will drive research and development, as well as manufacturing of electronic connectors and interconnection devices. This expansion is expected to generate around 600 new jobs, supplementing the company’s current workforce of nearly 500 Filipino employees.

FPIP management welcomed the expansion, citing its impact on the local economy and workforce. “We congratulate TE Connectivity on this significant milestone. Their expansion helps elevate Batangas as a leader in high-tech manufacturing and provides its residents with opportunities to develop advanced technical expertise.”

“We are pleased to partner with TE Connectivity as their growth reflects the kind of development we aim to have, one where growth is not just about investments, but more about skills development, quality employment, and impactful opportunities for the local community.”
