Laurel Barangay Kagawad Myra Lorenzo lauded the FPIP locators’ collective effort in providing aid to its host barangay outside its corporate social responsibility program.
“Kapos talaga ang badyet sa mga eskwelahan, kahit pambili lang ng office at school supplies. Kaya kami sa barangay ay nagpapasalamat sa patuloy na suporta ng FPIP. May dagdag gamit na ang mga estudyante at guro ngayon at sa susunod na taon,” dagdag ni Lorenzo.
FPIP is a consistent partner of the school during Brigada Eskwela, Training of Teachers and the previous establishment of the school library.
In the recent years, FPIP also played a proactive role in supporting the Laurel community through their multipurpose cooperatives, community pantries, Christmas groceries and Gulayan sa Barangay.
The donation was made possible by seven (7) FPIP locating companies, namely: Amber Kinetics Philippines, Inc.; Komatsu Philippine Corporation; Ichinomiya Electronics Philippines Corporation; PKI Manufacturing and Technology, Inc.; KVK Philippines, Inc.; Citizen Machinery Philippines, Inc.; and Fuji Industries Manila Corp.
FPIP Community Relations Officer, Marco Amurao, said he hopes the donation brings ease to the school’s faculty in maintaining its quality of education to its students as their public and private partnership continue to address the various learning gaps.
