INDUSTRIAL WATER

First Philippine Industrial Park’s (FPIP) industrial water comes from its 18 deep wells and 10 pumping stations, enabling it to deliver a capacity of 30 million liters per day (MLD).

Recognizing the distinct water requirements of industrial operations, FPIP, through its water arm FPIP Utilities Inc. (FUI), provides 24/7, quality and sustainable water services through its centralized distribution system backed by full-scale generators, advanced automation technology, and smart network management.

In line with the park’s journey towards decarbonization and regeneration, these water treatment facilities utilize green energy to reduce carbon footprint. FUI is a part of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Green Energy Option Program (GEOP), which allows electricity consumers to choose to source renewable energy from a licensed supplier.

The GEOP, which was launched in 2021, is an initiative of DOE under the Renewable Energy Act of 2008 (R.A. 9513) to reflect its commitment to a greener energy future. It aims to promote the development and use of renewable energy, such as biomass, solar, wind, geothermal, and hydropower.
