Major industries in the Philippines

Several industries in the country are highly promoted by both the BOI and the PEZA for investment, including manufacturing and production, strategic services, healthcare, mass housing, infrastructure and logistics, energy, and export services, among others. Enterprises under these major industries are eligible for both fiscal- and non-fiscal incentives.

Priority sectors under the Board of Investments for the Philippines include; (i) export-oriented manufacturing, (ii) import substituting or domestic demand-driven products, (iii) medical products supplies, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, (iv) petrochemicals, (v) infrastructure, and (vi) tech start-ups.
